In the review, it was found that overall daily glutathione supplementation improves skin wrinkles, skin elasticity, and UV spots [8]

In 2017, one of the first studies looking at the effects of Glutathione supplements on nonalcoholic fatty liver disease was published. The study included a total of 29 patients each given an oral dose of 300mg glutathione daily for four months.

At the end of the study, a significant improvement in liver function was found in all patients who received glutathione treatment.[11] The authors did, however, conclude that more large-scale clinical trials are needed to verify its efficacy.
