I have been taking this product for about three months now and I see a difference in my physique that I'm proud of. I wanted something that was natural and cost effective, and this was both. I will continue to use this product works great! Overall the taste for me is not so good but that doesnt matter. Also be careful for dosages of this thing, when taking this i am also more alert. In my opinion 9/10 :) Great product by liftmode! (Posted on 2/23/2015)
Great Quality and Potency Review by B

I received the green tea extract quickly through the mail and was happy with the increased potency as compared with some matcha green tea extract I had been using. The taste is very bitter and astringent. It can be capped if you can't handle it but I am used to it now. I get a mood boost and have noticed increased energy when exercising. I recommend this product but if you cant handle bitter I would say cap it and then take it. (Posted on 4/14/2014)
Awesome Company / Useful Product / Bad Taste Review by Christian

Disclaimer: After a shipping confusion, this product was given to me for free in exchange for an honest review.

Usefulness:
I've been using this product for a few months now and it's useful for a little energy boost without the jitteriness of coffee. If I want a full caffeine rush, I'll take espresso, but for later on in the day, I'll take around 400mg of this Green Tea Extract for a boost. It gives me a little bump in focus without hampering my ability to sleep if need be in a few hours.

Taste:
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of it's bitter taste. This is a bulk powder though, and you do get a large container of it, but I can't give it 5 full stars because of the hassle in ingesting it. If this could be provided in pill / capsule form at a similar price point, then it would be perfect.

Ingestion:
I usually take around 400mg of this powder (Don't lose the scooper it came with!) and put it in a shot glass. I then take a half mouthful of either apple juice or orange juice in my mouth, hold it in, then pop the powder in, and shake my head around to mix it with the liquid, then drink some more to swallow the whole thing down. This is to take it in as quick as possible because of it's bad taste. It does get some getting used to, and sometimes the powder gets stuck to the sides of my mouth, and that's when I really taste the yuck, but it's all good in the long run.

Company & Customer Service:
I've got to say though that I'm extremely happy with LiftMode and their willingness to serve their customers and provide good service. At first there was a shipping problem, which turned out to be my fault, but they still sent me a replacement item, plus they offered another item to review (this one). They included an analysis of this product as well, in terms of it's chemical content and makeup.

Cool stuff.

SUMMARY:
Good little energy / focus boost without a crash or hyperactivity. Large physical amount. Bad taste. Awesome company. (Posted on 1/8/2014)
Strong tea Review by adekemi

This product is strong, with a strong flavor. It takes getting used to, but once you figure it out, the benefit is that its very concentrated, and so the antioxidant properties may work faster. I feel the cleansing effects immediately, on my tongue and also in my stomach. This jar of tea will last long, because its huge. I suggest mixing two scoops with a whole lemon, a tablespoon of honey and about 4oz of warm water (dissolves better in warm water.) (Posted on 12/11/2013)

I bought this and the theanine extract to take in the morning. I was having arthritis already in my hands and fingers (I'm only 30) and it was getting really painful. I also bought it for the added benefits on the liver. I drink one cup of warm/hot water with one spoonful (with included spoon for each supplement). In about a week of taking it, I have noticed no more pain in my hands and fingers. Also I've noticed less anger and stress. Not sure which supplement helped for which one, but I am deffinitely liking it! My only complaint is the bitterness of the green tea extract. Sometimes I mix in a little raw honey that i have and it helps! (Posted on 12/9/2013)
Best quality green tea extract Review by John

I love this stuff. You are getting a high quality product at a great price. You will get over 400 servings which is about $.10 per serving. The quality and price is unbeatable.

This stuff is strong and potent. So I am sure to take it after eating. If I take it on an empty stomach, I get nauseous and struggle for a while. Just eat something first and take it slowly.

I won't claim to see immediate benefits from this. I don't think you feel benefits from all herbs right away. The certificate of analysis does help verify that you are putting great stuff into your body.

Lastly, I find this difficult to mix in water. I usually use a mug for my herbs and this stuff sticks to the bottom of the mug leaving me to scrape it off. And it also stains the mug like a champ. I'm not bothered by these things as I expect this stuff to happen when dealing with herbs.

I would expect that there is caffeine in this. I'm not sensitive to caffeine so I don't feel the effects.

I may try this directly applied to the skin at some point. I'm happy and Liftmode is awesome. I hope to see their product line expand. (Posted on 11/26/2013)
Essential Health Tonic Review by Brad V.

This product has too many benefits to list. I decided to try this product to supplement my weight loss regimen. I’d hit a block and was unable to shed additional pounds after a certain point. It certainly helped me resume my weight loss and I’ve lost about 20 pounds since starting it. I’ve tried a variety of weight loss supplements and supplement combinations in the past but nothing has worked so well with very few if any side effects. For example, the ephedrine-caffeine-aspirin (ECA) stack was extremely effective but I couldn’t stand how wired it made me feel and all the weight I lost came back after stopping the combination. This green tea extract has only modest stimulatory effects which feel more like a natural sensation of general vitality versus the adrenaline rush of an ECA stack. Thus, it will cause no anxiety or insomnia.

The efficacy of green tea in weight loss likely stems from its thermogenic and antioxidant effects. The mechanism behind thermogenics and weight loss is very well known. However, antioxidants also promote weight loss but only when added to an effective regimen. It is thought that oxidative stress can inhibit weight loss. Some professionals believe that the body may less likely allow the loss of its energy stores if it is under attack by free radicals. Green tea polyphenols, especially EGCG, are remarkable antioxidants with up to 20 times the potency of vitamins C and E. The combination of thermogenic and antioxidant effects makes this product a very effective weight loss aid.

Weight loss is just one of the many potential uses for green tea extracts. Its ability to rid the body of free radicals and oxidative species makes it an essential tonic for health and general well being. In addition to its antioxidant power, science has only begun to elucidate the many other beneficial biochemical interactions green tea polyphenols possess. I also use this product in combination with 5-HTP. This is because green tea polyphenols are inhibitors of aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AAAD), the enzyme responsible for converting L-DOPA to dopamine and 5-HTP to serotonin. This may seem counterproductive but it actually increases the availability of 5-HTP to the brain by preventing its peripheral metabolism to serotonin. In the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, the AAAD inhibitor carbidopa is often administered with L-DOPA for this same purpose.

This supplement has virtually no side effects except that it may cause mild nausea if taken on an empty stomach. Green tea itself has the exact same effect on me. Also, I can only take this supplement if I put it into capsules. It’s water soluble but the bitterness and astringency of the resulting solution is utterly overwhelming. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. It’s a must-have for any health guru. (Posted on 10/17/2013)
