Lion’s mane is an important adaptogen (herbs and fungi that help adapt to stress and support healthy performance). Lion’s Mane is rich in nutrients that support the immune system.

Lion’s Mane is often added to sports drinks.  Sometimes referred to as a superfood, research suggests Lion’s Mane contains polysaccharides such as heteroglucans that may potentially support normal health.

Lion’s Mane supplements are also known by a few different names, including:

Lion’s Mane may have very few and mild side effects such as allergies and upset stomach. Currently, there isn’t enough information regarding the safety of Lion’s Mane for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or if it can be used by children. To be on the safe side, avoid use without medical supervision.
