Barley Malt Extract is a dietary supplement ingredient produced by extracting sprouted barley grain, that contains biogenic alkaloids related to tyramine, and contains high concentrations of Hordenine and N-methyl tyramine. Barley Malt has been present in the human diet for many hundreds if not thousands of years.

Description

Barley Malt Extract (by virtue of the Hordenine and N-Methyl-Tyramine contained within it) is said to support mental and physical energy and a positive mood. It is also known to help activate Phenylethylamine (PEA), due to its hypothesized action as a weak reversible MAO-B inhibitor.

Barley Malt Extract has been used in supplement products that may support maintaining healthy energy, mood, and weight levels.

This product is 100 Grams (3.53 Oz) of pure Barley Malt Extract (standardized to 20+% Hordenine) in a transparent, reclosable plastic jar with an integrated Safety Seal and Shrinkband.

Also included are copies of the full ingredient analysis of the individual Barley Malt Extract batch, and a 0.15cc (0.03 teaspoon) scoop measuring approximately 250 mg of Barley Malt Extract powder.
