In this first part, we explore how to optimally take our calming and energizing supplements. We look at dosages, how to take, when to take, and whether you can combine these supplements in a stack. We also have an informative FAQ at the end!

1.    How To Take Liftmode Supplements for Calming

Liftmode’s list of calming supplements consists of:
  1. Phenibut
  2. Oleamide
  3. Magnolia Bark Extract
  4. L-Theanine
These supplements have all been selected because of their abilities to help promote a calm, relaxed state of mind and to help reduce feelings of stress. These supplements may also be helpful to anybody looking to promote healthy sleep. People who struggle to fall asleep easily often suffer from anxiety and stress, so supplements that have the potential to lower these effects may be useful in promoting healthy sleep.

Individual Calming Supplements

Phenibut

[caption id=""attachment_341"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Liftmode Phenibut: 99.5%+ purity[/caption] The recommended dosage for Phenibut is around 500 – 2000 mg daily, in doses that are no higher than 1000 mg at a time.[1] Phenibut is best used in a cycling regime – two days on, two days off is recommended. This helps to prevent the possibility of developing a tolerance to the effects and prevents negative side effects. Phenibut was first developed in Russia in the 1960s as part of their cosmonautics program. People tend to use Phenibut for its abilities to help promote a state of calm and wellbeing and to improve sociability. Phenibut may also reduce stress and promote healthy sleep.[2]

Oleamide

Oleamide is a naturally occurring compound found in most mammals, including humans. It plays a very important role in helping you to fall asleep, and scientists have found that it occurs in high levels in people who are suffering from sleep deprivation.[3] Oleamide is one of our favorite supplements for helping to promote sleep and relaxation. Oleamide is best taken in dosages of around 50 – 200 mg daily. Oleamide may have slight psychoactive effects at higher doses and may affect your motor coordination. It is not recommended to drive or operate machinery on higher doses of Oleamide.[4]

Magnolia Bark Extract

[caption id=""attachment_1433"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Magnolia may help promote healthy sleep and relaxation[/caption] Most people who use magnolia bark take a high-quality extract at a dosage of around 250 – 500 mg per day.[5] This is a good dosage for anybody looking to experience the benefits of Magnolia Bark extract without any negative side effects. Magnolia bark has been used in Ancient Chinese medicine for over a thousand years. It was once used to help treat a number of ailments and diseases. Today it is taken as a dietary supplement to promote relaxation and calm and to help promote healthy sleep.[6]

L-Theanine

L-Theanine is best taken at a dosage of around 100 – 200 mg once or twice daily.[7] L-Theanine is a great amino acid supplement for calming and relaxing effects that you’ll found in a really high concentration in black tea. L-theanine is one of our favorite active amino acids! It is really safe to use and goes well with many other supplements, especially caffeine. L-Theanine may also help to boost focus, improve your mood and promote mental clarity.[8]

Calming Supplement Stacks

[caption id=""attachment_973"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Liftmode's Oleamide: 99%+ purity[/caption] Liftmode’s calming supplements are great to use in a supplement stack as well as on their own! Any of the three supplements of natural origins (Magnolia Bark, L-Theanine, and Oleamide) would work really well together. These natural supplements have very few side effects and are effective for anybody looking to promote a relaxed mood and reduce stress. Phenibut is our potent calming supplement with potential cognitive boosting and stress-reducing effects. People also tend to use Phenibut for improving their sociability. Since Phenibut is a laboratory-developed substance, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend using it in a supplement stack. If you would like to use Phenibut in a stack with other supplements, please ensure that you do not use any supplement that targets GABA receptors or depresses your nervous system. This includes refraining from using alcohol while taking Phenibut.

When can I take Liftmode Supplements for Calming?

The best time to take Liftmode supplements for calming would be at any point in the day that you’re feeling stressed. These supplements are all really great at crossing the blood-brain barrier and can be taken on a full or empty stomach. They may also be good for promoting healthy sleep, so we can also recommend using them before bed.

2.    How To Take Liftmode Supplements for Energy

Our energizing supplements include:
  1. Caffeine + L-theanine
  2. Hordenine
  3. Phenylethylamine (PEA)
These top supplements are great at stimulating your mind and providing a boost of energy. They are all natural in origin and safe to use at the recommended dosage. People love these supplements because of their high quality and how good they are at producing consistently good results. We recommend taking our energizing supplements in the morning or before exercise. Try to avoid using them a few hours before bed, as they may keep you up. This is especially true for caffeine, which can last as long as 8 hours in sensitive people.

Individual energizing supplements

L-Theanine + Caffeine

[caption id=""attachment_1440"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Liftmode's Caffeine + L-Theanine for an energy and focus boost[/caption] This great energizing supplement gives you the energizing benefits of caffeine combined with the calming effects of L-Theanine. Caffeine is a potent stimulant but people often complain of the restlessness and anxiousness side effects felt after using strong caffeine. Combining caffeine with L-Theanine helps to avoid these effects (the jitters) while still allowing you to feel energized and focused.[9] The recommended dosage for this supplement is 1 – 2 capsules once or twice daily. We’d recommend taking this supplement first thing in the morning before food, on an empty stomach will help the effects to be felt quicker. We don’t recommend using this before sleep because it may keep you up. In fact, caffeine has been shown to last as long as 8 hours in some people, which is why we recommend rather using this supplement in the morning.

Hordenine

Hordenine is one of the strongest natural stimulants extracted from the controversial Bitter Orange plant. Hordenine prevents your brain from breaking down norepinephrine, a powerful stimulant that your body produces in the fight-or-flight response.[10] Scientists also believe that hordenine may produce mood-lifting effects because of its interaction with dopamine.[11] The best way to take Hordenine is in a dosage of around 30 – 50 mg, once to three times daily. We recommend starting with a lower dosage to see how you respond. If you experience any side effects immediately lower your Hordenine dosage.

Phenylethylamine (PEA)

[caption id=""attachment_1439"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Liftmode's PEA is bound to give you an invigorating energy boost![/caption] Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a trace compound that you find in all animals, including humans. Scientists believe that the 'runner’s high' may be caused by an increase of PEA in your body.[12] PEA is a really strong energizing and mood-lifting compound, with intense but short-lived effects lasting for around 1 – 2 hours. The reason that PEA lasts for such a short time is that it is rapidly broken down in your brain by enzymes called MAOs.[13] The best dosage for PEA is around 100 – 500 mg in the morning or just before exercising.[14] Taking PEA on an empty stomach will help the effects to be felt faster. We really do not recommend exceeding the recommended dosage of PEA as the side effects can be quite undesirable at high dosages. To extend the effects of PEA, we recommend combining it with Hordenine.

Energizing supplement stacks

[caption id=""attachment_702"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Liftmode Hordenine: 98%+ purity, goes well with PEA[/caption] Our energizing supplements are also great to use together in a supplement stack. If you’re wondering about how to take Liftmode supplements for energy in a stack, you’re not alone! The best stack that we can recommend is Phenylethylamine (PEA) with Hordenine. Hordenine helps to prevent the enzymes that break-down PEA, which allows the effects to be extended. The only thing with using this stack is that PEA has pretty strong effects which people enjoy over an hour or two. Using Hordenine with PEA may extend the effects to an undesirable length of time, which is why we recommend using lower doses of each supplement if you use them together. Also, taking these two supplements together may increase your chances of feeling side effects like headaches and dizziness.

When can I take Liftmode Supplements for Energy?

We recommend taking our energizing supplements at any time that you need a noticeable boost in energy. The supplements are best taken early in the morning before eating or before exercising. Try to not use the energizing supplements in the late afternoon or evening as they may affect your sleep.
Dosage How to Take When to Take Goes Well With

Hordenine 30 – 100 mg, up to three times daily With juice or water, or under your tongue Anytime, morning is better Phenylethylamine (in lower doses)

HOW TO TAKE LIFTMODE SUPPLEMENTS: FAQ

1.     What dosage should I use for different Liftmode supplements?

The correct dosage for each supplement is recommended on our product description page, as well as on the tub when you receive your order. We always recommend starting with a lower dosage as everybody responds slightly differently to different supplements. Also, if you’re using a supplement stack always use slightly lower dosages than normal as the supplements may interact with each other to produce stronger effects.

2.     How should I take Liftmode supplements?

Many of our supplements are sold in a capsule form to make it easier for you to take them. Other supplements are best taken under your tongue or dissolved in water. Some supplements have a very strong, distinctive taste and we recommend taking a measured scoop with juice or in a smoothie to mask the taste.

3.     When should I take Liftmode supplements?

[caption id=""attachment_1455"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Some people get confused about when and how to take Liftmode's supplements[/caption] When you take your Liftmode supplements is entirely up to you. Some supplements, like the energizing supplements, are best taken in the morning to avoid staying awake at night. Calming supplements can be taken at any point in the day that you’re feeling stressed.

4.     How long does it take for the supplements to work?

Each supplement has a different onset time. Taking a supplement on an empty stomach always results in stronger effects and a faster onset time. If you have a slower metabolism or take your supplement with food, this will increase the time taken to feel the effects. On average, the onset time for our products is around 30 minutes - 1 hour.

5.     Can I use different Liftmode supplements together?

[caption id=""attachment_1056"" align=""alignright"" width=""297""] Liftmode's magnolia bark extract: 99% purity[/caption] Taking different supplements together is called stacking. Some companies sell supplements together in branded supplement stacks. We prefer to give our customers the highest quality pure products and let you decide for yourself if you’d like to combine them. Most of our supplements are safe to use in a stack. If you’d like to take a supplement stack please read through the product description carefully to check for potential interactions. We always recommend using lower than usual dosages when taking a supplement stack.

6.     Can I take Liftmode supplements if I’m using prescription medication?

We do not recommend combining any dietary supplement with prescription medication or even over-the-counter medication. In this case, please first consult with your doctor. Some over-the-counter medications have lots of potential interactions and many herbal dietary supplements, although safe when taken alone, may cause potentially dangerous interactions with medication.

7.     Should I keep the silica in my supplement tub?

Yes! Don’t eat it, though! The silica pack helps to keep your supplement powder dry, preventing damage and keeping the aesthetics nice.

8.     How should I store my Liftmode supplements?

We always recommend storing your supplements in a cool, dry place. Dark is better too. The fridge is good, or a cool cupboard.

9.     How do I use the measuring scoop correctly?

[caption id=""attachment_1456"" align=""alignright"" width=""300""] Don't let supplements stress you out! We're here to help[/caption] The measuring scoop is there to help you measure the correct dosage for our powder and crystal form supplements. Our measuring scoops are designed to help you take the correct dosage, and one level scoop is usually equal to the recommended dosage for each supplement. Please note that there can be some variation in amounts when using a measuring scoop.

10.  Can I take Liftmode supplements under my tongue?

Taking a supplement under your tongue or sublingually is a method that many people enjoy. This helps the supplement to enter into your bloodstream faster than if you eat or swallow it. However, some of our supplements have strong, distinctive tastes that some people find undesirable. In these cases, we’d recommend rather taking your supplement with a glass or juice or in a healthy smoothie.

Conclusion

In conclusion, our calming and energizing supplements are easy to take and allow you to experience the wonderful benefits of the world’s strongest dietary supplements. Most of the naturally derived supplements for calming and energizing (Magnolia Bark Extract, L-Theanine, Oleamide, Hordenine, and PEA) are suitable to combine in a supplement stack. We always recommend using lower than usual dosages in a supplement stack. The recommended dosages for our supplements are available in our product descriptions at Liftmode.com.
