Blue Spirulina
Blue Spirulina
Arthrospira platensis (Blue spirulina) is a type of filamentous cyanobacteria that is typically one of two or three algal species found in common spirulina supplements. The cyanobacteria species grows in brack water and in ocean waters in the warm tropics and is often used as a supplement because of its rich protein content (53 – 68% of the dry weight), which contains a full spectrum of amino acids. It also contains high concentrations of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), which are rich in Omega-3 lipids. Further, the photosynthetic bacteria species boasts a healthy amount of vitamin A and iron, and lacks cellulose, allowing it to be easily digested by humans. - Supports a strong, healthy immune system - Extremely nutrient dense - vitamins and minerals - Powerful antioxidant
