N-acetyl cysteine ethyl ester (NACET) is a supplement form of the amino acid cysteine with a greater bioavailability than N-acetyl cysteine (NAC). NACET is a potent scavenger of harmful free radicals.

NACET is considered safe for use when taken at the recommended serving size. NACET may cause side effects including nausea, diarrhea, and constipation. WARNING: Do not take NACET with a class of medications called nitrates, especially Nitroglycerin.
